Zestaw Chemicon Protein-Concentrate wykorzystuje opatentowany odczynnik Universal Protein Precipitation Agent (UPPA). Roztwory białek tak rozcieńczone jak 1 ng/ml mogą być ilościowo skoncentrowane w małej objętości. Na wytrącanie białek nie ma wpływu obecność detergentów, środków chaotropowych ani innych powszechnie stosowanych środków laboratoryjnych. Po wytrąceniu osad jest zawieszany w niewielkiej objętości buforu do zawieszania osadu dostarczanego z każdym zestawem. Jeśli protokół jest przestrzegany prawidłowo, odzysk wynosi zazwyczaj 100%. Odczynniki są wystarczające do zatężenia do 10 ml rozcieńczonego roztworu białka.
