Opis

General description

A potent, cell-permeable, inhibitor of protein kinase C (PKC) that has been shown to selectively inhibit several PKC isozymes (IC₅₀ = 7 nM for PKC_α and PKC_β; 6 nM for PKC_γ; 10 nM for PKC_δ; 60 nM for PKC_ζ). Gö 6983 does not effectively inhibit PKC_µ (IC₅₀ = 20 µM) and can thus be used to differentiate PKC_µ from other PKC isozymes.
