Metoda jest analogiczna do EPA 365.2+3, APHA 4500-P E i DIN EN ISO 6878.
Spectroquant® Phosphate Reagent Test umożliwia dokładne ilościowe oznaczenie fosforanów. Podwyższony poziom fosforanów może prowadzić do eutrofizacji zbiorników wodnych, co stanowi zagrożenie dla środowiska. Dlatego stężenie fosforanów w wodzie pitnej i ściekach jest regulowane w wielu krajach.
Inne zastosowania to oznaczanie fosforanów w żywności i napojach (np. piwie) oraz w próbkach środowiskowych i rolniczych (np. glebie).
Zestawy Spectroquant® Reagent Test Kits zawierają wysoce stabilne, gotowe do użycia mieszaniny odczynników do przeprowadzenia analizy zgodnie z procedurą opisaną w dołączonej ulotce z instrukcjami.
