General description
Ten test dwutlenku chloru Spectroquant® umożliwia dokładne oznaczenie ilościowe w różnych wodach. Jako jeden z kilku tlenków chloru, jest silnym i użytecznym środkiem utleniającym stosowanym w uzdatnianiu wody i wybielaniu. W słabo kwaśnym roztworze dwutlenek chloru reaguje z dipropylo-p-fenylenodiaminą (DPD), tworząc czerwono-fioletowy barwnik, który jest oznaczany fotometrycznie. Chlor jest maskowany przed reakcją barwną.
Metoda jest analogiczna do APHA 4500-ClO2 D i DIN 38408-5.
