1-Dodecanol is an n-alkano organic compound.
Application
It is may be used to investigate the thermal properties of caprylic acid using differential scanning calorimetry. It may also be used as extraction solvent during determination of five kinds of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in water samples, using dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction based on solidification of floating organic droplet method (DLLME-SFO).[1]
