General description

BioTracker^™ EP-HMRG is nearly nonfluorescent at pH 7 or higher. It fluoresces by the reaction with proteases that specifically digest the EP (glutamic acid, proline) peptide sequence. A green fluorescent product is membrane permeable and localizes to the lysosome.To use the probe, warm the vial to room temperature and add 30 μL of DMSO or PBS to one vial to make 1 mM solution.Dilute the stock solution with a neutral buffer or culture medium to 1-2 uM and use the diluted solution immediately.SPECTRAL PROPERTIES:Excitation: 500 nmEmission: 524 nmFor fluorescence microscopy, blue excitation filter cubes for FITC or GFP are suitable.™ EP-HMRG jest prawie niefluorescencyjny przy pH 7 lub wyższym.
