Semicarbazide hydrochloride may be used as a stabilizing agent for the determination of norepinephrine in plasma samples using stable-isotope dilution gas chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry with negative ion chemical ionization.[1]
Semicarbazide hydrochloride may be used in the synthesis of 4-nitrobenzaldehyde semicarbazone via reaction with 4-nitrobenzaldehyde.[2]
