Beschreibung

General description

Ein zellpermeabler Benzothiazol-Farbstoff, der bei der Bindung an Amyloidfibrillen eine verstärkte Fluoreszenz aufweist. Nützlich bei der Überwachung von gestapelten β Blattaggregaten. Assoziiert mit aggregierten Fibrillen der synthetischen β/A4-Peptide β(1–28) und β(1–40), was zu einer Verschiebung des Anregungsmaximums und einer verstärkten Emission führt. Anregungsmaximum: ~385 nm (frei); ~437 nm (gebunden); Emissionsmaximum: ~445 nm (frei); ~485 nm (gebunden).
