Von Flavobacterium heparinum produzierte Heparinase I hat die folgenden Anwendungen:
- Verdau von Plasmaproben[1]
- Untersuchung der Auswirkungen von Medium, Waschen und Ultraschall auf die Infektiosität von Chlamydia pneumonia
- enzymatische Entfernung von Heparinsulfat von der Oberfläche humaner Rhabdomyosarcom-Zellen
Biochem/physiol Actions
Von Flavobacterium heparinum produzierte Heparinase I spaltet die α-Glycosidbindung an der AT-III-Bindungsstelle von Heparin auf. Dies führt zu kleinen Oligosaccharidfragmenten. Heparinase I neutralisiert die gerinnungshemmende Wirkung des Proteins. Die Halbwertszeit von Heparinase I beträgt 15–18 Minuten.
Other Notes
Eine Einheit (Sigma-Einheit) bildet 0,1 μMol ungesättigter Uronsäure pro Stunde bei einem pH-Wert von 7,5 und einer Temperatur von 25 °C. Eine internationale Einheit (I.E.) entspricht etwa 600 Sigma-Einheiten.
