Beschreibung

General description

A 13-residue, cell-permeable peptide that acts as a potent and selective inhibitor of mammalian heat-shock protein (Hsp25) kinase. Inhibits Hsp25 kinase competitively with respect to the substrate peptide (K_i = 8.1 µM) and non-competitive with respect to ATP (K_i = 134 µM). [Hsp 25 kinase is also called mitogen-activated protein kinase-activated protein kinase-2 (MK2).]
