2′(3′)-O-(4-Benzoylbenzoyl)adenosin-5′-triphosphat ist ein photoreaktives ATP-Analog.
Application
Nützlich als Photoaffinitätsmarker bei Proteinen und Enzymen, die ATP binden.
Das Triethylammoniumsalz von 2′(3′)-O-(4-Benzoylbenzoyl)adenosin-5′-triphosphat wurde verwendet als P2X4-Rezeptoragonist in Nierenschnitten der Ratte, bei Typ-I-Diabetes-induzierten Ratten und in Astrozyten−Neuronen-Co-Kulturen. Außerdem wurde es als synthetisches ATP-Analog in isotonem E3-Medium genutzt.
Biochem/physiol Actions
Selektiver Purinozeptor (P2X)-Agonist. Er wirkt stärker als ATP an homodimeren P2X7-Rezeptoren.
