General description

Burkholderia cepacia Selective Supplement is a microbiological additive designed for the selective isolation of Burkholderia cepacia from industrial samples. The supplement contains a combination of antibiotics that inhibit the growth of non-target organisms, ensuring the selective growth of Burkholderia cepacia.

Application

Burkholderia cepacia Selective Supplement is used for isolation of Burkholderia cepacia in industrial samples. It is suitable for microbiological quality testing of non-sterile products, particularly in pharmaceutical raw materials and drugs intended for inhalation or aqueous preparations.

Preparation Note

Directions:
Reconstitute the vial with 6 ml of steril distilled water in aseptic conditions and add it to 500 ml of sterilized BCSA Agar base cooled to room temperature.
