Beschreibung

General description

Ein Indolalkaloid, das an Tubulin bindet und die Bildung von Mikrotubuli hemmt. Depolymerisiert Mikrotubuli. Verursacht eine Zunahme von Mikrokernen und verzögert die Zellzyklusprogression. Ein Antineoplastikum. Induziert die Apoptose in menschlichen Lymphomzellen durch Unterbrechung der Mikrotubuli.
