General description

Nicht–ionisches Detergens, das für die Solubilisierung von membrangebundenen Proteinen verwendet wird. Dieses gereinigte Detergens ist vorteilhaft für die Verwendung mit empfindlichen, membrangebundenen Proteinen und überwindet die Probleme, die mit Aldehyd- und Peroxidverunreinigungen in Polyoxyethylen-Detergenzien verbunden sind. Im Gegensatz zu seiner Ausgangsverbindung besitzt das hydrierte TRITON^™ X-100 Detergens keine UV-Absorption und keine Fluoreszenz, die bei der spektrophotometrischen Überwachung und bei Assays Störungen verursachen.
