General description
Natives Rinderthrombin. Schlüsselenzym für die Gerinnungskaskade. Wandelt Fibrinogen zu Fibrin um und aktiviert Faktor XIII, der das Fibrinpolymer vernetzt und stabilisiert. Hat einen pH-Wert von 6,0–7,5 in einer 7-%-Lösung.

Preparation Note
