Beschreibung

General description

Nicht reversibler Inhibitor von Serinproteasen. Sein Wirkmechanismus ist analog dem von Diisopropylfluorphosphat. PMSF verursacht die Sulfonylierung der Serinreste an der aktiven Stelle. Berichten zufolge hemmt es auch die internukleosomale DNA-Fragmentierung bei unreifen Thymozyten. Ein verwandter, stabilerer Inhibitor ist AEBSF (Katalog-Nr. <;A href="http://www.emdbiosciences.com/products/EMD_BIO-101500">;101500<;/A>;).
