In-house data states the product is "Specifically designed for preserving fluorescent stained tissue sections. FluorSave™ is formulated without glycerol and therefore is ideal for use with phycobiliproteins." There is no specific mention of whether the product is compatible with GFP, RFP or mCherry. The formulation does not include DAPI.

The formulation for FluoroSave is proprietary, and the Certificate of Analysis does not report the pH. The pH is expected to be slightly alkaline, as the product is suitable for use with fluorescein. If the pH were neutral or acidic, FluoroSave would not be suitable for use with fluorescein.
