Antiprotozoikum und Angiogenese-Inhibitor. Fungiert als Inhibitor von Methionin-Amino-Peptidase 2.

Ein Inhibitor der Angiogenese. Weist selektive zytostatische Wirkung gegen ras-transformierte Zellen (IC₅₀ = 10 pM) auf. Antiprotozoikum, das gegen parasitäre Sporentierchen in Bienen und parasitäre Nesseltierchen in Fischen wirkt.
