Beschreibung

General description

Sulfhydryl-Alkylierungsreagenz, das H⁺-ATPase hemmt und den Kurzschlussstrom (IC₅₀ = 22 µ;M) in Pankreasgangzellen hemmt. Inaktiviert NADP-abhängige Isocitrat-Dehydrogenase. Ebenfalls ein starker Inhibitor von Mg²⁺- und Ca²⁺/Mg²⁺-stimulierter DNA-Fragmentation in Rattenleber-Zellkernen. Stimuliert die Freisetzung von Arachidonsäure durch Aktivierung von PLA₂ in Endothelzellen.

Sulfhydryl-Alkylierungsreagenz. Wurde zur Blockierung von Sulfhydryl-haltigen Reagenzien verwendet, die Glucose-Oxidase-Assays beeinträchtigen. Inaktiviert NADP-abhängige Isocitrat-Dehydrogenase. Endonuclease-Inhibitor. Ebenfalls ein starker Inhibitor von Mg²⁺- und Ca²⁺/Mg²⁺-stimulierter DNA-Fragmentation in Rattenleber-Zellkernen.
