Ein ionisches Detergens zur Solubilisierung von membrangebundenen Proteinen (Aggregationsnummer: 4-10; CMC: 4-8 mM; Mizellengewicht: 1700-4200; pKa 6,2). Induziert gemäß Berichten die Tyrosin-Phosphorylierung von β;-Catenin und die darauffolgende Translokation zum Nukleus, was die Aktivierung der β;-Catenin-Signalisierung fördert (effektive Konzentration 5-50 µ;M).
