Ein Schutzmittel für SH-Gruppen.

Wasserlösliches, zellpermeables Schutzmittel für Sulfhydrylgruppen. Es hält Monothiole im reduzierten Zustand und reduziert Disulfide quantitativ. Schützt die Proteinsulfhydryle und stellt die durch die Oxidierung der Sulfhydrylgruppen in vitro verloren gegangene Enzymaktivität wieder her.

Preparation Note

Nach der Rekonstitution in Aliquote aufteilen und unter Inertgas einfrieren (-20 °C). Stammlösungen sind bei -20 °C bis zu 2 Monate haltbar.
