Beschreibung

General description

Biologisch aktives, zellpermeables, nichtphysiologisches Ceramid-Analogon. Hemmt das Zellwachstum und leitet die Apoptose in HL-60-Zellen ein. Induziert die intranukleosomale DNA-Fragmentierung. Ein Aktivator der heterotrimeren Proteinphosphatase 2A (PP2A). Stimuliert eine zytosolische Serin-/Threonin-Proteinphosphatase in T9-Zellen bei Konzentrationen von so wenig wie 100 nmol/l. Aktiviert die stressaktivierte Proteinkinase (SAPK) in humanen promyelozytischen HL-60-Zellen.

Preparation Note

Beim Verdünnen zu einer wässrigen Lösung kann Beschallung erforderlich sein, um eine gleichförmige Suspension zu erhalten.

Nach der Rekonstitution in Aliquote aufteilen und einfrieren (-20 °C). DMSO-Stammlösungen sind bei -20 °C bis zu 1 Monat haltbar. Alkoholstammlösungen sind bei -20 °C <1 Woche haltbar.
