General description
Trypton-Soja-Agar ist ein granuliertes, universelles Kulturmedium. Es enthält keinerlei Inhibitoren und Indikatoren und kommt in vielen verschiedenen Anwendungen zum Einsatz. Die Kombination aus den beiden Peptonen, dem enzymatischen Verdau von Casein und Sojabohnen, gewährleistet einen hohen Nährwert durch Zufuhr von organischem Stickstoff, Aminosäuren und längerkettigen Peptiden. Das in diesem komplexen Medium vorhandene Natriumchlorid sorgt für das osmotische Gleichgewicht, während Agar-Agar das Verfestigungsmittel ist.
Application
Trypton-Soja-Agar eignet sich zur Isolierung und Kultivierung verschiedenster Mikroorganismen aus verschiedenen Materialien und wird bei der Qualitätskontrolle von pharmazeutischen Produkten verwendet.

For our chemical data base, I would like to know the ingredients of tryptic Soy Agar - Dehydrated Culture Media, in the SDS it mentions pyruvic acid sodium salt as hazard ingredient. I did not expect that in the recipe.
