Beschreibung

General description

Zellpermeabler Modulator der durch Ins(1,4,5)P₃ eingeleiteten Ca²⁺-Freisetzung. Hemmt die durch Ins(1,4,5)P₃ eingeleitete Freisetzung von Ca²⁺ aus mikrosomalen Rattenkleinhirnpräparaten (IC₅₀ = 42 µmol/l) ohne die Bindung von [³H]-Ins(1,4,5)P₃ an seinen Rezeptor zu beeinflussen. In Leberzellen hemmt 2-APB die speichergesteuerten Ca²⁺-Kanäle durch einen Mechanismus, der die Bindung an entweder das Kanalprotein oder ein assoziiertes regulatorisches Protein involviert. Hat keine Auswirkung auf die Freisetzung von Ca²⁺ aus dem Ryanodin-sensitiven Ca²⁺-Speicher, der aus Beinskelettmuskel und Herz der Ratte hergestellt wurde.
