Application

Das Ampliflu Red Western Blot Kit bietet eine Alternative zu der klassischen Chemilumineszenzdetektion. Bei der Arbeit mit Ampliflu Red können Standard-Protokolle für Immunoblot-Verfahren bis zum Detektionsschritt verwendet werden. Es wird keine zusätzliche Zeit für die Signal-Akkumulation benötigt, wie bei den Chemilumineszenzsignalen. Die Verwendung von Ampliflu Red eignet sich für Proteinmengen zwischen 1 ng und 1 μg pro Proteinbande.

Biochem/physiol Actions

Das Kit enthält das Peroxidasesubstrat Ampliflu Red, dass enzymatisch zu der stark fluoreszierenden Verbindung Resorufin umgewandelt wird. Das Fluoreszenz-Imaging wird dann auf dem Immunoblot durchgeführt.

Analysis Note

Empfindlichkeit: Die Nachweisgrenze liegt bei 1 ng/Bande, kann aber in Abhängigkeit vom verwendeten Antikörper variieren.
