Beschreibung

Application

Müller Hinton Agar 2 wird von Bauer et al. und der NCCLS für das Testen der Empfindlichkeit von Krankheitserregern empfohlen. Antimikrobielle Empfindlichkeits-Testscheiben imprägniert mit definierten Mengen von Antibiotika werden auf der Agar-Oberfläche positioniert. Bei der Herstellung wurde auf eine niedrige Konzentration von Thymin, Thymidin, Calcium und Magnesium geachtet

Preparation Note

Suspend 38 g in 1000 ml of purified water. Heat with frequent agitation and boil for one minute. Sterilize at 121°C for 15 minutes. Cool to 50°C. Mix gently and dispense into sterile Petri dishes.
