Beschreibung

Allgemeine Beschreibung

Flubendazol is a broad spectrum anthelmintic, which belongs to the class of compounds known as benzimidazoles.[1][2] It can be widely used in veterinary and human medicine.[3] It mainly finds applications in deworming poultry[1][2], swine[1][2], dogs and cats.[2]

Flubendazol is an injectable benzimidazole drug; though it is poorly absorbed it is quite effective in the treatment of trycocephalus, ascaris and oxyuriasis in both children and adults.[4]
