Application

Benzaldehyd kann als Referenzstandard zum Nachweis von Benzaldehyd, dem toxischen Oxidationsprodukt von Benzylalkohol, der als Konservierungsmittel in Injektionsformulierungen der nichtsteroidalen Antirheumatika Diclofenac und Piroxicam sowie in Vitamin-B-Komplex-Injektionslösungen eingesetzt wird, mittels Kapillargaschromatografie eingesetzt werden.
