Phosphomolybdic acid solution (PMA), a ready-to-use spray solution is a component of Masson′s trichrome stain. It functions as a mordant, forming a bridge between the substrate and the primary dye.

Anwendung

Phosphormolybdänsäurelösung ist ein gebrauchsfertiges Spray für die Visualisierung von Steroiden, Alkaloiden, Antioxidantien und Terpenen in Dünnschichtchromatographie (DC) und Hochleistungsdünnschichtchromatographie. PMA ist auch ein Bestandteil des Trichrom Masson-Farbstoffes.
