General description
Normales Humanserum von gesunden normalen Menschen, das nach der Gerinnung vom Blutkuchen abgenommen wurde. Jede gespendete Einheit wurde auf HIV 1 und 2, HIV-Ag, HCV, HBsAg und RPR mit von der FDA zugelassenen Verfahren getestet und für negativ befunden.
Application
Normales Humanserum wurde als Referenz oder Kontrolle in Abbautests mit DNase I- und MNase-Behandlungen verwendet und bietet einen Vergleich zur Beurteilung der Auswirkung dieser Enzyme auf die DHM-Strukturen.[1]

Is dialyzed human serum available?

Additionally, we provide various products that allow the client to dialyze the serum. Depending on the volume of serum to be dialyzed, any of the following products will work:

I would like to know whether it has been inactivated as I intend to use the complement components in the serum to activate the complement system in vitro. Additionally, does this serum have been previously used in complement activation studies？

Hi! I was wondering how this serum is collected and what storage agents/additives were used in the collection tubes/bags. E.g. silica in Vacutainer SST tubes

As it states in the "Description" section, normal human serum is collected off the clot from healthy normal humans. It is a nonsterile liquid with no preservatives.
