Beschreibung

General description

Antitumor- und antileukämischer Wirkstoff, isoliert aus der Rinde der Eibe. Fördert den Aufbau von Mikrotubuli und hemmt Abbau von Tubulin. Ein wirksames Mittel zur Blockierung von HeLa- und B16-Zellen im Stadium G₂/M. Hemmt die DNA-Synthese und stimuliert die Freisetzung des Tumor-Nekrose-Faktors-α. Induziert Apoptose in Tumoren des murinen Mammakarzinoms MCA-4 und des Ovarialkarzinoms OCA-1.
