Beschreibung

General description

Ein zellpermeables Vanillin-Derivat, das als starker und selektiver Inhibitor der DNA-abhängigen Proteinkinase-Aktivität (DNA-PK) (IC₅₀ = 15 µ;M) und der DNA-PK-vermittelten Doppelstrangbruch-DNA-Reparatur durch nichthomologes Endjoining (NHEJ) fungiert. Sensibilisiert gemäß Berichten Zellen effektiv gegenüber Abtötung durch Cisplatin (Katalognr. <;A href="http://www.emdbiosciences.com/products/EMD_BIO-232120">;232120<;/A>;). Wirkt sich nicht auf die PKC- oder Chk2-Kinase-Aktivität aus.
