General description
Kardiotoxine sind stark basische Peptide und interagieren mit negativ geladenen Lipiden auf Membranen. Während das Vorhandensein von Lysinresten für ihre Aktivität entscheidend ist, zeigen Kardiotoxine unterschiedliche Auswirkungen auf verschiedene Zellen, was auf eine selektive Bindung an bestimmte Zelltypen hindeutet.
Application
Kardiotoxin Naja pallida, wurde verwendet:
- Zur Injektion in den TA 4 Monate alter dystropher Mäuse, um zu untersuchen, ob die ILA-Behandlung die Muskelregeneration modulieren kann
- Zur Induktion einer Verletzung der Skelettmuskulatur im rechten TA-Muskel
- Zur Induktion einer Muskelregeneration
Preparation Note
Nach der Rekonstitution in Aliquote aufteilen und einfrieren (-20 °C). Stammlösungen sind bei -20 °C bis zu 3 Monate haltbar.
