General description
Bilirubin-Ditaurat (BDT) ist das zuerst nachgewiesene Gallenpigment, das auf natürliche Weise in der Galle spezifischer Fischarten vorkommt. Es besteht aus unkonjugiertem Bilirubin (UCB) mit Taurin-Seitenketten, die an den Propionssäuren C8 und C12 gebunden sind, und ist ähnlich lang wie Glucuronsäure.
Application
Bilirubinkonjugat, Diitaurat, Dinatriumsalz wurde verwendet, um Patientenproben zum Testen der ikterischen Interferenz zu dotieren. Es wurde außerdem zur Vorbereitung von Testpools für konjugiertes Bilirubin verwendet, um auf die Interferenz von Bilirubin zu testen.
