Beschreibung

General description

Ein zellpermeabler, potenter, reversibler und ATP-konkurrierender Inhibitor von Cdk1/Cyclin B (IC₅₀ = 35 nmol/l) und GSK-3β (IC₅₀ = 4 nmol/l). Eines der aktivsten Paullone, das durch Konkurrieren mit ATP um die Bindung an GSK-3β agiert und die Phosphorylierung von Tau hemmt. Hemmt außerdem die Aktivität der Cdk5/p25-abhängigen Phosphorylierung von DARPP-32 (ein durch Dopamin und Adenosin-3′,5′-Monophosphat reguliertes 32-kDa-Phosphoprotein). Weist in vitro eine bemerkenswerte Antitumorwirkung auf. Hemmt das Wachstum der Darmkrebszelllinie HCT-116 mit einem IC₅₀ im Nanomolbereich.
