Biochem/physiol Actions

Antitumormittel, das Komplexe mit Topoisomerase II und DNA bildet, um die Doppelstrang- und Einzelstrangspaltung von DNA zu verstärken und die erneute Ligation reversibel zu hemmen.

Etopsid ist ein Antitumormittel, das Komplexe mit Topoisomerase II und DNA bildet, um die Doppelstrang- und Einzelstrangspaltung von DNA zu verstärken und die erneute Ligation reversibel zu hemmen. Blockiert den Zellzyklus in der S-Phase und G2-Phase des Zellzyklus; leitet die Apoptose in normalen und Tumorzelllinien ein; hemmt die Synthese des Onkoproteins MDM2 und leitet die Apoptose in Tumorzelllinien, die MDM2 überexprimieren ein.
