Poly-L-Ornithin-Hydrobromid wird zur Beschichtung von Deckgläsern in Kulturgefäßen zur Kultivierung neuraler Progenitorzellen verwendet. Es wird außerdem zur Beschichtung von Kulturplatten zur Kultivierung von Mäusegehirnzellen eingesetzt.

Biochem/physiol Actions

Poly-L-Ornithin ist eine Spezialbeschichtung, die als Ladungsmodifikator agiert. Es ist ein polykationisches synthetisches Aminosäure-Polymer. Es fördert die nasale Absorption hydrophiler makromolekularer Arzneimittel.
