Anwendung

1-Naphthyl butyrate has been used as a substrate for esterase activity in sheep body louse Bovicola ovis[1] and in chromogenic staining of flounder fish samples.[2]

1-Naphthyl butyrate also called α-naphthyl butyrate is a substrate for esterase enzyme. α-naphthyl butyrate aids in assessing α-naphthyl butyrate esterase activity in monocytes and lymphocytes.[3]
