Synthetic peptide directed towards the N terminal region of human CDR2

Application

Anti- CDR2 antibody produced in rabbit is suitable for western blotting at a concentration of 5.0μg/ml and for immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded tissue sections at a concentration of 4-8μg/ml.

Biochem/physiol Actions

cdr2 normally sequesters c-Myc in the neuronal cytoplasm, thereby down-regulating c-Myc activity, and suggest a mechanism whereby inhibition of cdr2 function by autoantibodies in PCD may contribute to Purkinje neuronal.
