Biochem/physiol Actions

RBX1 is a component of SCF E3 ubiquitin ligase and participates in tagging and degradation of various substrates in the cell to maintain homeostasis. It is crucial in meiotic maturation process of mouse oocytes.[1] RBX1 is essential maintaining the integrity of genome and for development and viability in C. elegans.
