General description

MART-1 (auch bekannt als Melan A) ist ein Differenzierungsantigen der Melanozyten. Es kommt in Melanozyten der normalen Haut und Netzhaut, in Naevi und in mehr als 85 % der Melanome vor. Dieser Antikörper ist bei der Diagnose von metastasierenden Melanomen wertvoll.
