General description
BCL6 ist ein Transkriptions-Regulatorgen, das ein Zinkfinger-Zellkernprotein mit 706 Aminosäuren codiert. In gesundem Gewebe weist der Anti-BCL6-Antikörper in einer Teilmenge von B-Lymphozyten, die sich hauptsächlich in Keimzentrumszellen befinden, eine starke Kernfärbung auf. Die BCL6-Expression tritt in der Regel bei follikulärem Lymphom, diffusem großzelligem B-Zell-Lymphom und Burkitt-Lymphom auf.
