General description
Application
PEG kann als äußere Beschichtung für pharmazeutische endgültige Darreichungsformen verwendet werden. Dies kann verhindern, dass Feuchtigkeit mit pharmazeutischen Wirkstoffen in Kontakt kommt. Zum Beispiel werden feste Dispersionen von Naproxen durch ein Drop-Printing-Verfahren mit PEG beschichtet. Die PEG-Schützt die festen Dispersionen vor einer durch Feuchtigkeit beschleunigten Kristallisation und verbessert ihre Stabilität.
Nanostrukturierter Hydroxyapatit (HAP) kann durch ein Sol-Gel-Verfahren mit PEG als organischem Modifikator hergestellt werden. Die Zugabe von PEG beeinflusst die Morphologie von HAP-Teilchen. Bei hohen Temperaturen führen flexiblere PEG-Moleküle zur Bildung von großen HAP-Plättchen. Bei niedrigen Synthesetemperaturen bilden weniger flexible PEG-Kolloide nanostrukturierten HAP.
PEG-Pulver kann auch als Laxativum eingesetzt werden.

How is shipping temperature determined? And how is it related to the product storage temperature?

Products may be shipped at a different temperature than the recommended long-term storage temperature. If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature. As shipping routes are configured for minimum transit times, shipping at ambient temperature helps control shipping costs for our customers.
