- Als Histondeacetylaseinhibitor in der Brustkrebszelllinie MDA-MB-231, analysiert durch Zellviabilitätsassay und viralen Replikationsassay.
- Zum Verbessern der Produktion von rekombinantem gewebespezifischem Plasminogenaktivator (t-PA) in CHO-Zellen (Chinese Hamster Ovary) in einem Bioreaktor.
Biochem/physiol Actions
Natriumbutyrat ist eine kurzkettige Fettsäure, die Histondeacetylase (HDAC) im Millimolbereich hemmt. Verringert die Ca2+-Freisetzung aus intrazellulären Vorräten. Leitet die Apoptose in verschiedenen Zelllinien ein. Natriumbutyrat leitet die Produktion von rekombinantem Protein in CHO-Zellen und anderen menschlichen Zelllinien ein. Natriumbutyrat beeinflusst die Proteom- und Genexpressionswege in den Zellen. Es unterdrückt Gene im Zusammenhang mit dem Zellzyklus und modifiziert Gene, die an Metabolismus und Apoptose beteiligt sind.

If there is no retest or expiration date listed on the product's COA, we do not have suitable stability data to determine a shelf life. How is shipping temperature determined? And how is it related to the product storage temperature?

Products may be shipped at a different temperature than the recommended long-term storage temperature. If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature. As shipping routes are configured for minimum transit times, shipping at ambient temperature helps control shipping costs for our customers. I would like to know which is the recommended solvent to make dilutions with Sodium butyrate B5887, they are meant for long-term storage.

This product is soluble in water at 100 mg/mL. The filter-sterilized solution is stable for up to 2 years at 2-8°C as indicated for the 500mM prepared solution, product TR-1008.
