The active ingredients only represent between 3.0 to 3.6% of the total volume of the ProClin 300 as packaged in the bottle. For final use, the active ingredients represent between 7.5 ppm to 15 ppm, which is a combination of the CMIT and MIT active ingredients. A dilution of 0.025% to 0.05% is recommended for biocidal effectiveness. Given the recommendation above, the usage of 5% is very high.
