General description

Dimoxystrobin belongs to the strobilurin class of fungicides and its mode of action involves the inhibition of the mitochondrial respiration of fungus.

Application

Dimoxystrobin may be used as a reference standard for the determination of the fungicide in baby food using solid-phase microextraction, followed by gas chromatography with mass spectrometric detection (SPME-GC-MS).
