Beschreibung

General description

Fluazifop is one of the major metabolites of fluazifop-p-butyl, a systemic, post-emergence herbicide used for the control of annual and perennial grass weeds in non-graminaceous crops.[1]

Application

Fluazifop may be used as an analytical reference standard for the determination of the analyte in:

• Rainwater samples by solid-phase extraction (SPE) and liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS).[2]
• Vegetables by acetonitrile-based QuEChERS (quick, easy, cheap, effective, rugged and safe) extraction followed by LC-MS/MS.
