Anwendung

Ein differenzierender Agar für den Nachweis von Salmonellen in Lebensmitteln und klinischen Proben.

Komponenten

Medium-Basis (4x29g; Fluka® 84369):
Pepton 5g/l
Hefeextrakt 2g/l
Fleischextrakt 1g/l
Natriumchlorid 5g/l
Natriumdeoxycholat 1g/l
Agar 15g/l

4 Vials Supplement (Fluka 38589; pro Vial, ausreichend für 1000 ml Medium):
chromogenes Gemsich 0.13g
Propylenglykol 10.0g

Angaben zur Herstellung

Dissolve 29 g Salmonella Chromogen Agar (Cat. No. 84369) and 1 vial Salmonella Chromogen Agar Supplement (Cat. No. 38589) in 1 litre distilled water. Boil and shake for 35-40 minutes to dissolve the medium completely. Do not autoclave or overheat. Cool the medium as fast as possible to 45-50°C and shake gently for a further 30 minutes or less. Pour into cool petri dishes.

The designations basic, plus, or prime are added to indicate the quality control level, from basic quality control to standard QC plus to prime for full regulatory compliance.
