SAvPhire Monomeric Streptavidin,Cat.#SAE0109, is a high-affinity recombinant variant of SA that minimizes the risk of aggregation, precipitation, and crosslinking in pre-incubation with biotinylated molecules and offers easier access to the desired targets, tested for use in IHC (Paraffin).

Biochem/physiol Actions

SAvPhire Monomeric Streptavidin expressed in E. coli and conjugated with alkaline phosphatase is suitable for immunodetection applications. SAvPhire Monomeric Streptavidin is expressed with an N-terminal His-tag and a C-terminal FLAG^® tag.

Species Reactivity Note: Predicted to react with all species.

Physical form

Monomeric Streptavidin in buffer containing 0.05 M Tris, 0.15 M NaCl, 1 mM MgCl2, 0.2% BSA, pH 8.0 with 0.1% sodium azide with 10% glycerol.

Preparation Note

Stable for 1 year at 2-8°C from date of receipt.

Analysis Note

Evaluated by Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) with Anti-NeuN antibody (ABN78) for detection of NeuN in mouse brain tissue sections.

Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) Analysis (IHC(P)): A 1:500 dilution Anti-NeuN (ABN78) was used to stain sections of mouse cerebral cortex and signal was detected with Savphire monomeric streptavidin alkaline phosphatase conjugate (1:500 dilution) and Vulcan Fast Red.
