General description

Rosetta 2-Wirtsstämme sind BL21-Derivate zur besseren Expression eukaryotischer Proteine, die Codons enthalten, die nur selten in E. coli verwendet werden. Diese Stämme liefern tRNA für 7 seltene Codons (AGA, AGG, AUA, CUA, GGA, CCC und CGG) auf einem kompatiblen, Chloramphenicol-resistenten Plasmid. Die tRNA-Gene werden von ihren nativen Promotern abgeleitet.
